Made in Omaha. For Omaha.
Omahelper started with a frustrating Saturday: a leaking water heater, six phone calls, two voicemails, one "we don't service that zip," and a national app that sent the job to a company in Lincoln. There had to be a better way to find a good local pro.
What we are
Omahelper is a hometown marketplace for home services. Homeowners tell us what they need; we match them with up to three vetted pros who live and work in the Omaha metro. That's it. No bidding wars, no markups, no call centers in another time zone.
What we're not
We're not a national lead-gen site that sells your request to ten companies. We're not a franchise. We're not an app you need to download. We're a website run by people in Omaha who know the difference between Dundee and Millard and which one has more plaster walls.
How we vet pros
Every pro is verified for business registration and general liability insurance. Trades that require a license (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing) must hold a valid City of Omaha or State of Nebraska license. We follow up after jobs and remove pros who don't hold their standards.
How we make money
Homeowners never pay us. Pros pay a flat monthly membership for featured placement and leads. That keeps our incentives simple: send good customers to good pros.
Where we work
All of Omaha plus Bellevue, Papillion, La Vista, Gretna, Elkhorn, Bennington, Ralston and Council Bluffs. See our full list of areas.
